Facebook response rescues dog

 

A stray dog with its head stuck in a jug managed to get out of its predicament with a little help from Facebook friends.





Over a dozen volunteers began searching for the defenseless animal near
Nashville after a would-be rescuer took a photo and posted it on her
animal rescue Facebook page.





Volunteer Beth Gresham initially tried to rescue the dog when she saw
it on the side of the road. After taking a picture, she approached it
and the dog ran away.





She then posted the picture online asking for help in finding the dog so they could save its life.

Rescuers weren’t sure if the container was placed on the dog’s head or if it became trapped while searching for food. Volunteers named the dog Miracle after they trapped her and removed the plastic container from her head.
