Olympic medals stolen

Olympic champion, Andy Murray, has had his medals stolen. The culprits were caught when they gave themselves away.

Michael's friends

Michael Phelps became the greatest Olympian of all time as secured his 19th medal with victory in the men's 4x200mn relay, smashing the 48-year record of Russian gymnast Larissa Latyina and earning himself a place in history.



When he's not out winning medals, Michael has been known to spend time with two favorites, a bulldog named Herman and a Catahoula mix named Stella. Michael first met Stella on the TODAY show and liked her so well that he adopted her.

 

It's easy to see that Michael is dedicated to his dogs just from a glance at his Twitter page.

Doggy star Uggie to release autobiography

Awards season scene stealer Uggie - he of "The Artist" and of being adorable fame - will release his memoir, "Uggie: My Story," on Gallery Books in October.

The Jack Russell terrier is collaborating with human biographer Wendy Holden on the project, which will include the story of his triumphant rise through Hollywood, including tails - er, tales - of working with stars like Reese Witherspoon in "Water for Elephants" and mingling with celebs like George Clooney, Katy Perry and Jessica Simpson.



 A Gallery Books release states "Uggie: My Story"
will also include the seedier details of his life, including "a candid
look at his private demons and his life as a felon, including cat
murderer." The release also refers to Witherspoon as the "love of his
life."
